The ASA of PA District 9, in conjunction with The All American Umpires Association proudly announces the play of the Lou Conti "Thank You My Friend" Memorial Benefit Slow Pitch Softball Tournament open to class D and E Teams to be played at Progressive Field, Gaston Park, and West Pittsburg Fields in New Castle PA on the weekend of August 29 and 30th. (if we have enough Class C Teams we will add another division of play.
This tournament will proudly award cash to the winner and/or runner-up of the tournament in the minimum of $500 with at least eight teams entered and participating The majority of the Proceeds from this tournament will go to offset the cost of funeral expenses for Lou Conti paid directly to the funeral home. Additional cash for prize money will be added based on teams participating.

The entry fee is $225 Double Elimination Tournament. Teams may also donate 2 Dudley 52 Cor 300 Compression Ball or you may purchase this at the tournament site.
The deadline for entering is Tuesday, August 25th.
Lou Conti was an ASA Umpire for 25+ Years. He was a director of the 7th Ward Fall Slow Pitch Weekend League. Lou loved the game of softball and had many friends on and off the field. He sadly passed away this past spring.
